Spanish 3 will focus on interactions in the present, past, future and conditional tenses that are related to hobbies, nature, the environment, city life, health and wellbeing, the arts,  current events and travel. You will learn how to express your preferences, wishes, make requests and demands.  We will use the Senderos curriculum from Vista High Learning as our guide.  

In the first semester we will read a short novel called “Los Bucaneros” which will allow us to investigate Colombian culture and a story about pirates! During the  second semester, we will read a novel called “La Catrina” that will allow us to explore fun parts of Mexican Culture.  

Throughout the year, you should expect to take a deeper look at the culture of many other Spanish-speaking countries through investigations of their history, food, music and geography.
