COACHING STAFF

Head Coach 

Tyler Brayton: Married with 3 children.  Played D-line at CU and 9 years in the NFL, second season at AHS.

Jesse Craig: Married with 3 children. Played QB at Hastings College in NE. Taught and coached at AHS for the last 23 years. 

Brian Miller: Married with 3 children.  Grew up in Iowa. Played 3 sports.  Played at Iowa St and finished at William Penn College.  Veterinarian turned High school football coach.  Has coached in Colorado for the last 10 years and this will be his second year as DC at AHS

Bruce Kiphart:  Married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren.  Arapahoe Alum.  Played at UNC Coached HS football for the last 30 years, but loves being at his alma mater the most! 

Alvin Barrnett:  

Paul Grizzle: Married and works at CCU.  Was a soccer player growing up, but started kicking at Valor his senior year and set a record for consecutive PATs.  Went on to play soccer and track at CCU.  This is his second year coaching the specialists at AHS.

Adolf Chavez: Married with 2 children who both went to AHS.  Retired police officer of 30 years.  Has a true servant's heart.  “Looking to be in continued service of others through coaching”  He is a defensive coach on our freshman staff, but most recently has accepted the role of operating our drone to film practice which is such a valuable teaching tool and will help us get better as a football program 

Chris Watson:  Married with 3 children.  Originally from Brooklyn.  Played HS Ball in Florida and college at Wartburg in Iowa.  Senior Operations manager at Outward Hound.  This will be his first year at AHS.

John Cecil: 

Ben Sturgell:  Married with a daughter.  An Arapahoe Alum.  He has been practicing law for the last 20 years and looking to give back and help out at AHS with coaching, football operations and potentially college recruiting
