I love teaching 3rd grade and am so grateful to be at Dr. Justina Ford Elementary. I love the growth kids show at this age. Their thinking and problem solving skills are really expanding, and it's so rewarding to guide them on their journey. I believe in building a caring classroom community where every child is celebrated for their unique strengths, interests and experiences. I also believe in challenging students to set goals, reflect on their progress and maintain a growth mindset in all they do. 

I am a Colorado native, and I attended Littleton Public Schools for my entire academic career. I graduated from Hamilton College, in Clinton, New York and earned my Master's degree from the University of Denver. Previously I worked in Douglas County School District and Denver Public Schools. This will be my 13th year teaching in an elementary school. My family consists of my husband, Brett, and two daughters, Anna and Sarah. Both girls attend CU Boulder. We love to travel as a family and spend time in the mountains camping, hiking, fishing, and skiing.
