About Our Para

Mrs. Alicia

Hi! I am Alicia Kopsa, this will be my fourth year as an Instructional Para at Ford, my 3rd year in 3rd grade.

My education is in Nursing. I have a BSN from Metro State and have been a practicing nurse for 37 years, the last 17 years of it as Geriatric case manager.

Personally, I have 4 adult kids and 2 granddaughters. My eldest granddaughter, Lilah, will be entering 5th grade this year at Ford, and it is because of her I got involved with  Ford.  I was a senior volunteer in the media center and transitioned to a Para position.

In my spare time I like to read, swim and take care of my many house plants.  My best times are spent with my whole family and traveling to new and old places with my husband and granddaughter.

I am so excited to work with this great 3rd grade team and with these incoming 3rd graders.
