This resource provides West Campus juniors and seniors instructions on how to complete all the required tasks in applying to college. Topics include: getting ready to apply to college, letters of recommendation, transcripts, applying to COD, and a college application procedure overview.

Login to SchooLinks using your LPHS Google Account
Click "Colleges>Application Manager" to set up your college applications in SchooLinks
*Overview of College Application Manager- The first time you use the College Application Manager, you will complete a FERPA waiver for SchooLinks.
Complete your Application (choose one method)
The first time that you use the College Applications manager, you will need to connect your Common App account. (VIDEO HERE!)

4. Check to see if you need Recommendation Letters
Please only request a letter if it is REQUIRED for one of your colleges.
If you need a letter, see the Letter of Recommendation page for instructions.
5. Send your Transcripts
Official transcripts will be automatically requested in SchooLinks when a student adds a school to their College Application Manager. See the Transcript page for details.
Self-report - NO official transcript is required to apply. Students will enter all their own classwork on the application.
6. Send your Test Scores
Use your College Board (SAT) and/or ACT account to request that official score reports be sent to your colleges (if required)
Many schools are now test-optional or will allow you to self-report your test scores. Check the college's website for details.
