Welcome to our hidden stage in the world of The Elder Scrolls Online.
This is the secret home of our ESO Acting Troop, where stories leap off the page and onto the stage. Here, we don’t just run dungeons — we bring entire worlds to life. I’ll be writing original plays for our troupe, and you’ll be the stars.

About the Theater

The Theater of the Ancestor sits at the crossroads of performance and history in The Elder Scrolls Online. Tucked away in its own private estate, this open-air stage is framed by weathered stone, flowing banners, and the watchful presence of ancient statues. The carved amphitheater rises like a relic from a bygone era, yet it’s alive with the energy of modern Tamrielic storytelling.

Inside the theater, you’ll find:

A sweeping stage with perfect sightlines from every seat.
Richly dressed props and scenery tailored for each performance.
Candlelit ambiance and dramatic lighting to set the tone — from intimate soliloquies to thunderous climaxes.
A backstage area for actors to prepare, whisper last-minute lines, or panic in character.

Whether you’re playing to a full house of guildmates or an audience of wandering adventurers, the Theater of the Ancestor is built for unforgettable moments — both scripted and spontaneous.

Join the Troupe

The curtain is about to rise — and there are only 24 seats on this stage.
That’s not for the audience — that’s for the entire production. Every single person who joins is part of the show, whether you’re delivering a powerful monologue, triggering effects, swapping props, or managing scene changes.

How it works:

Get in touch – Reach out, and we’ll invite you to our guild, Adventures from the Pub.
Pick your role – In this troupe, everyone is hands-on. You might act one scene, run the lighting in the next, and move props in another.
Perform live – We stage the entire production in ESO’s Theater of the Ancestor, with all 24 participants working together to bring the story to life.
Get immortalized – Every performance is recorded and shared, with full credits to each cast and crew member.

This is more than a guild event — it’s a collaborative production where everyone is both performer and crew.

Note: Because space is limited, troupe spots are first-come, first-served for each performance.

Who Can Join?

Any level player in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Must enjoy roleplay (acting experience optional — enthusiasm required).
Voice acting only — all performances are done via voice.
Must have Discord for rehearsals, coordination, and live performance communication.

If you can bring your voice, your imagination, and a willingness to collaborate, you can take the stage.

Our First Season (Coming Soon)

Our troupe’s debut performance will be a bold one:

Play 1: Macbeth (Uncut) – A single-act comedy reimagining of Shakespeare’s classic, adapted to fit ESO’s stage and its delightful limitations. Expect dramatic flourishes, comedic timing, and just enough chaos to make the Bard raise an eyebrow.

Future productions will follow, drawn from original scripts and tales from Adventures from the Pub.
