CES Visual Art Learning Objectives:

• Creative Expression:

  • Students will develop their ability to express themselves creatively through various art mediums, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, and collage.

• Artistic Techniques:

  • Students will learn fundamental techniques in art, including shading, perspective, color mixing, and composition.

  • Students will explore different art styles and movements, such as realism,  impressionism, cubism, abstract, and non-objective art.

• Art History and Appreciation:

  • Students will be introduced to famous artists, artworks, and art movements from different cultures and historical periods.

  • Students will learn to appreciate and analyze artworks, understanding the context in which they were created.

• Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving:

  • Students will develop critical thinking skills by interpreting and evaluating their artwork, the work of their peers, and famous artist's work.
