High Frequency Words
Parents,
The following list of words are the high frequency words your child is expected to know by the end of the school year. In order for your child to master these words, they must be able to read the words accurately and with automaticity. What does automaticity mean? Automaticity is when you can read the word without sounding it out and taking no longer than 3 seconds to recall it from memory. We will be practicing these words throughout the year in our Saxon Phonics lessons and during small groups.
