Meet Mrs. Broomberg!

Hello! My name is Dwan Broomberg, and I am so excited to be your child’s third-grade teacher this year! This marks my 22nd year in the classroom, and I can truly say there is nowhere else I’d rather be. I earned my Early Childhood Education degree from Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia, and over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. My absolute favorite part of teaching is instilling a lifelong love of learning in my students.

Outside of the classroom, I am a proud "boy mom" to my three sons: Hunter (25), Reed (18), and Jack (5). Our house is always full of energy, and we share our home with two dogs that I absolutely adore. When I’m not teaching or chasing after my boys, you can find me spending time with my family, relaxing at the beach, or curled up with a good book.

I love what I do, and I am so looking forward to partnering with you and working with your student to make this an incredible school year!
