We use Microsoft Exchange for our email server. It can be accessed in many ways.
Accessing our email from your web browser is preferred. It can be accessed from any web browser. CLICK HERE TO ACCESS YOUR EMAIL.
It can be connected to the Exchange software located in your Applications folder on your Mac computer.
Email can be set up on your iPhone and Android phone as well.
iPhone Settings:
Go to "Settings/Mail/Accounts"
Click "Add Account"
Select "Microsoft Exchange"
Email: "your lowell email address"
Click "Next"
Select "Sign In"
Android Settings:
Got to "accounts and backup"
Go to accounts and select add account
Select email and choose hotmail/outlook
"Sign in" Input email address
Password: "your email password"
Authenticate with your Multifactor Authentication Method
If you are having any problems with your school issued technology (i.e. teacher computers, student computers, projectors, interactive boards, etc.) or with you will need to electronically submit a Help Desk Ticket. Our IT department will respond and send a technician out to assist you.
Go to http://helpdesk.lowell.k12.ma.us. To sign in, use the same username and address you use to log in to your computer. You will then be prompted through a series of drop down menus to describe your technology issue.
If you are locked out of your account or computer, please call the HelpDesk at 978-674-2024 and they will assist you.
X2 is our attendance, data, and grading portal.
You will be using X2 everyday to log attendance.
X2 has data for your current students (i.e. phone numbers, addresses, parents/guardians, major testing scores, etc.).
Every grading period you will be expected to enter your grades into X2.
In middle and high school, X2 can be used as a gradebook.
Every student and faculty member is issued a Google Drive account.
Your Google Drive account has unlimited storage so it is a great place to store videos, PDFs, etc.
You can create documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and more in Google Drive.
Students and faculty can share documents with each other in Google Drive.
Many teachers use Google Classroom as an easy way to share resources with students.
Many of our subscriptions work best on google Chrome. If you sign into Chrome with your school email, you will automatically have a bookmark folder with quick links.
