Open Launcher → Camera
Select Video
Press Record
Tap Pause/Stop when done
Click Gallery to trim and save
Upload to Drive, Classroom, or Canva/Google Vids for editing
Option 2: Canva for Education (includes Editing)
Canva is free for teachers and students.
Teachers can create classes that integrate with Google Classroom. Students can upload video, record video, trim clips, add text and images, add music and more!

Go to canva.com and log in with school Google account
Search “Video” templates (e.g., “Video Project,” “Talking Presentation”)
Upload footage from the Chromebook Camera
Drag clips onto the Timeline
Add text, music, stickers, captions, and transitions
Export as MP4 to Drive or Classroom
Option 3: Google Vids (Includes Editing)
Google’s newest collaborative tool for creating storyboards, scripts, and polished videos—all in a Slides-like interface.

Script and storyboard with built-in layouts
Record video clips or voiceovers directly in the browser
Drag in Drive content: Docs, Slides, Photos, charts
Use AI to help draft narration or outline a video
Collaborate in real time with classmates

Choose a template (Explainer, How-To, Narrative, PSA)
Add slides and use AI to help outline or write prompts

Export and submit to Classroom or share via link
