Option 1: Canva for Education
Canva is free for teachers and students.
Teachers can create classes that integrate with Google Classroom. Students can upload video, record video, trim clips, add text and images, add music and more!
Option 2: Flip(grid)
Flipgrid is free for both students and teachers.Â
It is best for recording and editing but does have the ability to work with uploaded videos.
Flipgrid has some fun editing tools such as greenscreenbackground, filters, stickers, gifs, music, etc.
Every student in the Lowell Public Schools has a Screencastify Account.
Step 1: Get the app.
Go to the Chrome Web Store.
On the left, click "For Lowell.k12.ma.us".
In the menu, find and click on "Screencastify".
Add extension.
To find the extension, go to your extension bar in chrome and click on the puzzle piece.
Click on the push pin next to "Screencastify" to pin it to your extensions bar.
Click on the Screencastify extension to initiate it and sign in with Google.
