POWERSCHOOL
Parent Portal, Student Portal, Login Help, PowerSchool AppWhat is PowerSchool and the PowerSchool Parent Portal?
Q: What is PowerSchool? A: PowerSchool is the fastest-growing, most widely used web-based student information system, supporting 12 million students in all 50 states and over 65 countries. PowerSchool enables today's educators to make timely decisions that impact student performance while creating a collaborative environment for parents, teachers and students to work together in preparing 21st century learners for the future.
Q: Does LLCS use PowerSchool? A: YES! LLCS utilizes PowerSchool daily to maintain accurate data for students and teachers/staff.
Q: Why should parents access the PowerSchool Parent Portal? A: PowerSchool for Parents provides real-time access to: Attendance, School Announcements, Assignments, Assignment Scores, Teacher Comments, Final Grades
Q: Where do I login? A: For active account users, visit https://cie.powerschool.com/public and complete the required login fields. A: For new users, use the Parent Portal Access Codes Needed form to request account information.
Q: If I have multiple children attending LLCS do I have to establish separate accounts? A: Siblings to be linked together under one set of login credentials if desired. This action is completed when parents/guardians establish their account using the Access Codes. For help, email info@lowcountryleadership.org.
Q: Can I continue to use the same PowerSchool Parent Portal account from a previous school? A: No. Additionally, no previous LLCS portal accounts work anymore. Changing districts during summer of 2020 voided all previous LLCS portal accounts.
Q: Who do I contact for assistance if I'm locked out or can't remember my password? A: To request assistance with forgotten login credentials or for being locked out due to multiple failed login attempts, use the Parent Portal Login Help form to request a reset.
Q: Who do I contact if I have questions about student data (grades, assignments, and/or attendance) appearing in the PowerSchool Parent Portal? A: Direct questions and comments about student related data to teachers.
Q: How often is PowerSchool updated? A: Contact your student's teacher to find out when they plan to update assignments and grades. Absences and Tardies are recorded daily. Absence codes are updated when an absence excuse is submitted and received by the front office.
Q: Who do I contact if I have a question about attendance in PowerSchool? A: Contact the teacher.

HOME LANGUAGE SURVEY
The SC State Department of Education requires all student records to include, as a part of the permanent record, a Home Language Survey. A Home Language Survey is typically filled out by a parent/guardian when the student first enters public school. When possible, it is preferred to have the original Home Language Survey in the student’s permanent record. When this is not possible, LLCS will request that you complete the this Home Language Survey Form. Please follow the prompts.
