Graduation Day Summary Info and Key Details
Cap and Gown Distribution and Year End Tasks Drive Through coming soon to LHS! In adhering to the directives put forth by Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Education, graduation cap and gown distribution and finalizing year end tasks will take place all from the comfort of your very own car.
Graduates will be assigned an "appointment" time based upon first letter of last name - see below for the schedule
Graduates will remain in their cars for the entire process - AT NO POINT IS A GRADUATE ALLOWED TO EXIT THEIR CAR AND/OR ENTER THE BUILDING
All LHS staff members will be wearing face masks and will adhere to the health and safety guidelines
Any items or materials distributed to graduates will be sanitized and quarantined for at least 72 hours prior to distribution
Graduates will arrive at LHS during their designated appointment time - please do not arrive early
Graduates will be directed where to line up as they wait their turn
Graduates will stop at various stations to take care of "all things graduation related"
Stations include, but are not limited to, the following:
Mrs. Monfreda - School Fees
All school fees must be paid prior to receiving your diploma
Fees can be accessed through the parent Tigerparent.me account or through the graduate's Blackboard account. You may also contact Mrs. Monfreda at monfreni@lovelandschools.org to get the balance of the fees that are owed.
Fees can be paid in one of 4 ways:
1. Bring cash or check to Locker Clean out on May 8th
2. Bring cash or check to Cap & Gown Distribution on May 13th
3. Mail check directly to: Loveland High School

The Office of School Counseling needs to know your post-high school plans so they can send send transcripts, etc.

Herff Jones - Cap and Gown
Graduates will receive their rental gown and their cap and tassel
Graduates earning cords will receive them with their cap and gown
Cords are earned for Honors Diploma, National Honor Society, Thespian, Military and Teaching Professions Academy
Cords should be worn at graduation - don't forget to bring them!
Mr. Crumley - Chromebooks
To transfer your digital files from your school account to your personal gmail account, please refer to this information on Google Takeout for instructions.
For current seniors who have paid off their Chromebook over the past three years, ownership of the device will transfer over to you at the conclusion of the school year.
For current seniors interested in paying off the remaining balance to gain ownership of their Chromebook, please contact Nina Monfreda at monfreni@lovelandschools.org to arrange payment by Wednesday, May 20.
If the balance on Chromebook is not paid off by May 20, this may result in the district withholding transcripts and/or the diploma.
For current seniors who DO NOT wish to pay off the remaining balance on the Chromebook and forego ownership, AND seniors on free/reduced lunch using a district Chromebook:
Students will need to turn in their Chromebook and charger during senior pickup/dropoff on May 13. If you need your Chromebook beyond May 13, no worries! You can turn it in on graduation day. Make sure to bring it though or you will not receive your diploma on graduation day.

For those seniors who are not able to return the Chromebook on May 13, you may also make arrangements to drop off the Chromebook at the Loveland Board of Education. Please email lhstech@lovelandschools.org to set up a time to do so.
Failure to return the charger, or returning a damaged Chromebook, may result in additional fees.
If the Chromebook is not received by May 20, this may result in the district withholding transcripts and/or the graduating student’s diploma.

Textbooks and Media Center Books Return
All textbooks and Media Center books must be returned prior to graduation
If you need to keep a textbook for AP exam preparation, please do so and follow your teacher's instructions on how to return the book once it is no longer needed
After visiting all stations, graduates will exit the LHS parking lot and remember...AT NO POINT IS A GRADUATE ALLOWED TO EXIT THEIR CAR AND/OR ENTER THE BUILDING
Cap and Gown Distribution "appointments" have been assigned alphabetically by graduate last name. Please help us ensure the health and safety of all our graduates by adhering to the following schedule:
8:00am - 8:45am A - B
8:45am - 9:30am C - D
9:30am - 10:15am E - Ha
10:15am - 11:00am He - K
12:00pm - 12:45pm L - M
12:45pm - 1:30pm N - R
1:30pm - 2:15pm S only
2:15pm - 3:00pm T - Z
No medication will be available for pick up on this day. All medication must be picked up on May 8 as outlined here.
No musical instruments or athletic uniforms will be collected on May 13. Drop off will take place on May 8.
