I have been teaching Trampoline and Tumbling since I was 14. I work at Apex Tumbling and Cheer. I love working with these kids because they have such a pure out look on life, and their contagious happy energy reminds me why life is worth living. Once I turned 15 I have been teaching ATG (pre-team) and my own classes (preschool and beginner) which is occasionally challenging but overall rewarding in seeing the love my students are growing for gymnastics.
This is a photo with me and some of my ATG students. I especially find them a joy to teach because their silly creative minds inspire me to think outside of the box.
This past summer I worked Apex Summer camps with the Beginner group where we bonded over fun stories, our love of gymnastics, and awesome games.
Sometimes kids just need an outlet to be themselves, and I make a strong effort for my class to be a place where kids can express themselves. Often times other kids might find them weird or dorky, but I make an effort to see them for how they are.
