Reflections on the Bowers

The Bowerbird thought it might be useful to open up a page where we can share our reflections on this writing space. There has been a lovely energy around this initiative, which after all is only a week old. Together, in various discussion spaces (personal messenging, Slack, Twitter, conversation) people who in many cases have never met for real have worked through a number of technical difficulties and today the Bowerbird has been satisfying his curiosity by rummaging through the various bowers.

I find this space, for the moment, at least, a great idea. It's renewed my writing energy and given me/made me develop more confidence in forward-facing writing. I love the rhizomatic framing, which means we have the freedom to explore/contribute/use whilst remaining fluid and not becoming crystalline as a formal 'group'. I think the different voices in cross/slant conversation because they share the same space are exciting, and offer exciting possibilities for collaborative writing. Thank-you bowerbird!
