College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) is a partnership between Pacheco High School and Merced College that enables eligible high school students to take college courses at no cost, earning college credit while fulfilling their high school requirements. CCAP courses are designed to support college and career readiness while reducing the time and cost of earning a college degree or certificate. CCAP courses vary each semester. Merced College provides a list of course offerings for PHS students.
What are the benefits of CCAP?
Earn college credits while in high school

Save money! CCAP students are not required to pay tuition or purchase books!

Credits are transferable to colleges and universities

Students who are currently enrolled in high school

Demonstrate readiness and commitment
Have a 3.5 GPA or higher
Have parent/guardian approval

Steps To Enroll In a CCAP Course
Sign up for the class you are interested in taking
Students can sign up for courses in the counseling office
Sign-up announcements are made prior to the semester starting
For example, Sign-ups for the Fall semester will take place in April
Once you sign up, you need to attend all mandatory ROAR sessions

The Merced College K–12 Program allows high school students to take college courses while still enrolled in high school. This option gives students early exposure to college-level academics and helps them begin earning college credits before graduation.
Key features of the K–12 Program:
Students enroll individually in Merced College courses
Courses may be taken online, on the college campus, or occasionally at the high school
Students earn official Merced College credit
Some fees may apply
Tuition may be waived, but enrollment and materials fees may still be required
