In high profile and urgent situations, I am often called on to coordinate program production for high-level agency offices. Working with principals and their staff, I regularly work on ministerial level engagements, such as the launch of the Mekong-U.S. Partnership.
Most recently, I led stakeholder coordination and production efforts following the U.S. Afghanistan withdrawal and refugee resettlement initiatives, as well as supporting the Ukrainian press corps since February 2022. In both cases, I received recognition for leading virtual outreach in support of key communities and allies. I continue to support these efforts today as the demands and situations evolve.
The covid-19 pandemic demonstrated the importance of virtual engagement as a strategic communications space. A key aspect of my work at GPA is using virtual interaction to build communities around issues. I use listening sessions, crowdsourcing, and consultation programs to build deeper relationships with important stakeholders. These measures result in more engaging and relevant programs.
Over the course of two years, I produced and directed a series of water security programs using these methods. My approaches to water resilience, water security in the Western Hemisphere and the Mekong Delta, and the nexus of water, women, and fashion resulted in wider audience reach and engaged stakeholder networks.
Much of my work involves offering guidance to stakeholders on how to use virtual engagement in support of new initiatives. Based on my substantive background, I lead program development on sustainability and science-related issues.
At present, I work with various bureaus, agencies, and organizations on space affairs, climate change, and food security. With my integrated approach to stakeholder engagement, I build out series that focus on reaching wider audiences with top line messages while establishing deep relationships for ongoing collaboration.
Strategic planning for long term production management is complex. As producer and director of several ongoing program series, I focus on achieving efficiency and accountability in the production process.
I managed several ongoing series related to alumni affairs and entrepreneurship. In each case I worked with stakeholders to streamline program administration to free up time to focus on audience engagement.
