This page provides how-to instructions and videos to help students access their instructional tools and activities.

Students will receive instructions and announcements for activities via Google Classroom (3rd - 12th grade) or this website (PreK - 2nd grade).

If you don't know or remember how to access Google Classroom or Clever, you can find tutorial pages for each of them below.

Clever

Clever is a landing page for all available online instructional tools. If a student signs into Clever, they will have access and links to the majority of our other LISD programs and resources with your Lorena ISD username and password - including Google Classroom and this website.

Google Classroom

Google Classroom is where students in grades 3-12 will find announcements, activities and instructions. You can get to Google Classroom through Clever or you can go directly to classroom.google.com and sign in using the student's LISD credentials.

Each grade level has a separate class in Google Classroom. If you need information on joining the right class, go to the page for your school.

Chrome Browser

Our students usually use Chromebooks at school, so they login using Chrome all the time. This allows us to send them certain bookmarks and tools called extensions that make their user experience easier.

If a student signs into the Chrome Browser with their school Google account, they will have the SAME user experience at home as they do on a Chromebook at school. To find out how to get your student signed into Chrome, click here.
