Oberlin Overnight: BA + BFA in Integrated Arts
Sep 22-23, Oct 27-28
Oberlin’s five-year BA+BFA lets you dive into the art forms you love most — cinema, theater, dance, music, studio art, or creative writing — while also exploring how they connect with each other and the full spectrum of your academic interests. This overnight program includes special opportunities to learn more about the BA+BFA, engage with current students and faculty, and gain insight on how to prepare a portfolio for the BA+BFA application. This program is not intended for students planning to apply to the Conservatory of Music, including the Music Theater program.

Theater Weekend
Oct 2-3 or Nov 13-14
We offer prospective student performers, directors, designers, technicians and stage managers a chance to be considered for full- and partial-tuition scholarships by performing a monologue or presenting a portfolio for CWRU Theater faculty.
Theater Weekend kicks off on Friday evening with a meet-and-greet with faculty and students, followed by a workshop as well as a tour of our new state-of-the-art theater, The Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center. Students also have the option of observing theater classes on Friday morning.
On Saturday, students will audition and interview for the scholarships in the morning, tour campus and visit the dining hall in the afternoon, and attend a CWRU Department of Theater mainstage production that evening.
Each year, CWRU’s Theater Department awards four full-tuition scholarships to incoming students who wish to major in theater, and two $10,000 merit scholarships to students who wish to minor in theater, or pursue as an extracurricular. For more information, see CWRU theater scholarships.
