FIRST TRIMESTER
ACTIVITIES IN THE FOOTBALL FIELD
The previous week to Christmas Holidays we went to Marchena's Football Field to play rugby and football. Even though it was foggy, we spent a great time!
UNIT 3. RUGBY
In this unit we have learnt the main techniques of rugby, vocabulary and its differences with American Football.
UNIT 2. STAMINA
Stamina is the physical quality that allows you to mantain physical exertion, delaying the onset of fatigue for as long as possible. There are two tipes:
Aerobic stamina: this allows you to do low-intensity activities over a long period of time, during which your breathing provides enough oxygen to your muscles.
Anaerobic stamina: this allows you to do high-intensity activities over a short period of time, during which your breathing does not provide enough oxygen to your muscles, leading to exhaustion.
UNIT 1. BASKETBALL
In the first trimester we did a basketball tournament at recess so we started the school year reminding the main rules and characteristics of this sport.
