TOULIE
Hi everyone! My name is Toulie and I'm the auxiliare de conversacion at Lopez de Arenas this year. I'm from Virginia in the United States of America, and this is my first time traveling to Europe. I've been having such a wonderful time with all the students and teachers at this school so far, and I can't wait to continue building relationships with everyone! The Spanish culture is such a vibrant, rich new thing to learn about, and I'm so lucky to be here experiencing it with you all!
Hi everyone! I am Gynno, and I am the language assistant from the Philippines. I live in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The Philippines is known for its beautiful beaches, delicious food, and hospitable Filipinos. I studied Spanish at my University, which inspired me to apply for this program (which turned out to be truly memorable). I have been fascinated by the Spanish language and culture since the pandemic and it has been one of my dreams to work and live in Spain - where culture and tradition are abundant! ¡Muchas gracias! :)
Hi! My name is Allison and I am an auxiliar from the United States. My hometown of Madison, Wisconsin is known for its nationally renowned university, access to nature, and German-influenced cuisine. I had an amazing high school Spanish teacher who inspired me to study seek out opportunities to travel to Spain long-term. It is a dream come true to get to work in a Spanish school and interact with such interesting, energetic students each day!

Hello, my name is Urvashi and I'm from India. When I'm not busy reading fiction, I enjoy traveling. Therefore, last year I decided to move to Spain, after completing my Master's in Spanish and Latin American Literature, to teach English for a year or two before making my way in the world.
Auxiliar de conversación gave me the perfect opportunity to visit this land of tapas and flamenco. So here I am now, working with first through fourth of ESO (Secondary school).
I am still in the process of learning how to truly live the tranquila and no pasa nada way of life. Overall, it's been a beautiful journey. I've been lucky enough to do lots of traveling to beautiful, picturesque Spanish cities. I am also happy to say that I have improved my Spanish and will continue to be a part of the program this year as well!
