My name is Valerie Turker and I have been an educator for almost 15 years. I started my career at Lopatcong in 2011, transitioned into corporate leadership training in 2019, and returned to my favorite place - Lopatcong Elementary School - in 2024.

A graduate of Centenary University, I majored in History, Education and Special Education summa cum laude. My husband, Dave, and I have 2 adult children, Anthony and Maria. My kids and I love to visit Disney World and we are huge fans of Star Wars! I also am the mama to a pup, Dolly, and 3 cats: Petra, Lotus and Echo.

In my spare time, I love to hike, practice yoga, and cook. My family is very important to me and any time I have them over for dinner is a big deal!
