Symptoms include late talking, learning new words slowly, and a delay in learning to read.

Consult a doctor for medical advice.
Dyslexia is more common than we once thought. My daughter, Maria, has a formal diagnosis of dyslexia. Although she struggled with reading and writing in elementary school, she is now a graduate of Centenary University with dual majors in English Literature and Creative Writing. With the right supports and routine at home, she was able to accommodate and advocate for herself in order to be the best student she can be.
