Welcome to 4th grade READING & WRITING class!
I am so excited you are here, whether that is virtual or in person.
This will certainly be a year you will never forget!
This year we will continue using Google Classroom as our online learning platform. Please visit my Google Classroom tab on this page for directions to log in and for classroom codes.
All homework will be posted in Google Classroom, so please visit that site daily. I will not post homework here on my webpage.
Whether virtual or in person, every student every day MUST have...
1- a FULLY CHARGED computer and earbuds
3 - all notebooks
4 - a pen, pencil, and eraser
5 - all books ready
6- ELA 2-pocket folder and ELA resource folder

School Reminders:
School begins at 8:00am.
You should be READY TO LEARN!
Students should be sitting at a table or a desk.
Students should be dressed appropriately.
Students should be logged in no later than 8:00.
Students need to eat breakfast BEFORE class. Eating is not permitted while attending class. (There will be a scheduled snack break every morning.)
Students should have a water bottle nearby.
Students must have all needed materials, books, and supplies.
The Google Meet link is on my Google Classroom page. Press the link at 8:00am. Students will not be allowed to enter until I am present, so if you get the message "The meeting code you entered doesn't work", it is probably because I haven't started class yet.
Class starts at 8:00am, so I will not allow anyone in before that time. When class is over, students must leave the meeting. I will dismiss class everyday, so you will be aware when it is time to leave the Google Meet.

Be on the lookout for more information through the school's virtual backpack and emails. Please remain flexible and patient- this is new for all of us!
