The Loomis Union School District has a crisis response plan in place at each of its schools which specifies actions to be taken for the following emergency situations: explosion or threat of explosion, earthquake, severe windstorm, flood, fire, war, evacuation, bomb threats, intruders, opioid overdose response, responding to dangerous, violent or unlawful activities and chemical accidents. Emergency Procedures account for required adaptations for pupils with disabilities. During an emergency, children will be dismissed to go home by a site or district administrator only if there is time to return students safely to their homes and parents can be notified. Students of parents who are not contacted will remain in the care of school personnel.
