TEST RETAKES

• Retakes will not be given during the regular class period

• Students will only have one opportunity to retake the Chapter Test. 

• Students can earn up to 80% on a test retake. 

• The retake will cover the same math content, but it will have different questions.

Requirements to retake the test:

1.  Complete, correct and turn in your test corrections.

2. Complete and correct the Practice test again. 

Test Correction Format

Put a Test Correction Heading on a piece of paper.  I will have a hardcopy of the test correction template for you in class.

• Copy the original problem from the test and solve it correctly.

• Write about the error you made in the original test.   (I________instead of  _______.)

• Explain, using correct mathematical vocabulary, how to solve the problem.   Example:  First, I __________ because __________.   Next, I ________ because _________.

• Do this for every problem that you lost points on in the test.                                                                          

• Staple this to the back of your original test.                                                                                                                                                   

• We will work on test corrections during class.

Plagiarism/Academic Integrity: Academic integrity is expected on all assignments. Plagiarism is defined as presenting the work of another as one’s own. Cheating on an assignment or assessment is an activity that violates ethics and school rules. Any work that exhibits cheating/plagiarism, will result in a zero, parental notification, and disciplinary action may be taken.
