Suspensions

A student can be suspended and/or recommended for expulsion as defined by Education Code 48900.

A pupil may be suspended or expelled under 48900 if an offence occurs during any of the following times:

• while on school grounds.
• while going to or coming from school.
• during the lunch period whether on or off the campus.
• during, while going to, or when coming from, a school sponsored activity.
