Suicide Prevention & Counseling Services*

Loomis Union School District employs counselors who support students with social-emotional and mental health needs through various avenues including, but not limited to; whole class social-emotional instruction, positive behavior supports, and crisis intervention services. If you feel your child is in need of social-emotional or mental health counseling supports please contact your child’s teacher to discuss your concerns.

If a crisis situation arises in which you fear a student may harm him/herself please contact your site principal through the school office to initiate crisis intervention services.

In addition to the services provided within Loomis Union School District, your family and/or child may be eligible for additional services offered through Placer County. Available resources and contact information can be found at the Placer County Children’s Systems of Care website (linked here).
