Students will study the history and geography of concurrently developing great civilizations throughout the world during medieval and early modern times.

Students will examine the growing economic interaction among civilizations as well as the exchange of ideas, beliefs, technologies,and commodities. 

Students will study the social, cultural, religious and technological changes that occurred  in In the anciet world of Greece and Rome, through  Europe, Africa, Mesoamerica South America and North America in the years 500-1789 CE.

World and region-specific Geography will be learned and applied as it relates to these various civilizations.
