Unit Three: Climate and Climate Change

December 8th - 13th:

Summative #1: Chapter 9 Test on 12/8/2017

Summative #2: Cliamte Change Analogy - The Lorax and Climate Change comparison. Look at the symbolism in The Lorax and write a 3-point paragraph on how The Lorax represents factors/ideas regarding climate change. Directions and resources are available on Google Classroom.

Resources: Utilize notes, key terms, and Earth Science textbook for information regarding the summative assessments.

End of Semester Support: I am available for clarification, support, and encourage in the mornings from 7:30AM-7:55AM, at break time, and lunch time. After school support can be schedule in advance.

Unit One: Atmosphere

This unit focused on Chapter 7 in our Earth Science textbooks. Our learning activities throughout the unit consisted of: experiments and hands-on explorations, independent reading assignments, defining key terms, active note taking, answering questions on Google Classroom, creating pamphlets about various atmospheres in our solar system, and taking quizzes throughout the unit.
