70% - Summative/Unit tests

25% - Formative/Quizzes

*Test retakes: Students will be able to retake summative unit tests for 75%.

To be eligible for retakes on a math unit test, students must:

1. Complete and correct the homework assigned in the unit prior to the the retake test

2. Complete all quiz and test corrections correctly on a separate piece of paper.

3. Write a paragraph explaining your mistakes prior to the retake test and what you have learned.

4. Signature from parents acknowledging retaking unit test on original test prior to retake test

5. Meet with Mrs. Barberio

Quiz and test corrections:

• Quizzes: complete on back side and tests: do all work on a separate sheet of paper

• Rewrite the problem (unless it is a word problem)

• Show all of your work

• Circle or box your correct answer

• Write a sentence describing your error or what they may have done wrong. If they didn't know how to do the problem, explain why you do know how.
