This module on social media privacy and rules was something that I was interested in learning about in this course. I was curious to read about current guidelines, suggestions and expectations considering this is a "social media" class. Being TOO involved in social media is thought to be a negative thing these days. However, if you follow rules and use it for the right reasons I am learning of the many benefits for educators. I thought the rules were not anything shocking. The one thing I haven't followed was NOT posting the name of my school. I thought of it as a positive being proud of my district, however it is an easy way to be tracked. Although, my true belief is you should expect to be found on social media so do not post anything you would not want students, parents or administrators to see or read.
