This Privacy Policy explains how Snaper Diner handles information when you download or use the game on iOS, Android, or another supported platform. Snaper Diner is a free-to-download social diner game. Optional digital game content may be offered as one-time in-app purchases; there are no subscriptions.
Snaper Diner is published under the GreenstoneGames developer name by Long View Labs. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the Snaper Diner operator.
Privacy questions and requests: admin@longviewlabs.co.nz
Please use the subject line “Snaper Diner privacy request” and tell us what you are asking for. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information by email.
The current release is designed to work without an account, registration, or sign-in. You can play the game without giving us your name, email address, contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, photos, health information, or advertising identifier.
The current release configuration does not operate an in-game advertising network, analytics service, cloud gameplay service, or custom crash-reporting service. The game keeps limited progress information locally on the device, such as tutorial completion, so the experience can remember what you have done.
Apple and Google operate the stores through which the app is distributed and may process device, transaction, diagnostic, and account information under their own policies. If you buy optional digital content, the relevant store processes the payment. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
This policy describes the current release configuration. If a future release adds an account system, advertising, analytics, online services, or another material data practice, we will update this policy and the relevant store disclosures before or when that change is released.
Snaper Diner is an interactive game about running a busy diner. Depending on the release and mode, it can include tutorials, timed rounds, preparing or matching food and orders, serving customers, customer reactions, local face-to-face play, house rules, rush-hour play, and additional characters or themed content. The game is entertainment software; it is not a food-ordering service, a payment service, a communications service, or real-money gambling.
The game may store limited game progress and settings locally on your device. The current release uses local device storage for tutorial completion. This information is not an account, is not designed to identify you, and is normally removed when you uninstall the app or clear its app data, subject to how your operating system handles backups and restores.
If you email us, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to include. We use it to answer your question, investigate a problem, protect the service, and keep a reasonable record of support matters. We do not ask you to email payment credentials or authentication secrets.
The base game is free to download. We may offer optional digital game content, such as additional modes, characters, features, or other game enhancements, as one-time in-app purchases. These are not subscriptions and do not create a recurring charge.
Apple App Store or Google Play processes the transaction, including payment authorization and store-account records. We may receive limited transaction or entitlement information needed to confirm that content was purchased and make it available in the game. We do not receive your full payment-card number from the store. Refunds, billing records, and payment-method management are handled through the store that processed the purchase, subject to applicable law and that store’s rules.
Apple, Google, your device manufacturer, and the operating system may independently process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate region, app version, diagnostics, security signals, purchase history, or crash information. That processing is controlled by the relevant provider, not by this policy. Review Apple’s and Google’s privacy documentation for their practices.
The current Snaper Diner release does not require or intentionally collect:
an account, login, or registration;
your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or address, unless you choose to contact us;
precise or approximate location;
camera, microphone, photos, or motion/health data;
browsing history or the contents of other apps;
advertising identifiers for our own advertising or profiling;
messages, voice chat, user posts, or other user-generated content; or
payment-card numbers.
The current release configuration does not use custom analytics, in-game advertising, cloud gameplay services, or custom crash reporting. Before a release uses a third-party SDK or another material data practice, we will review it and update this notice and the relevant store disclosures as needed.
We use information only as reasonably necessary to:
provide and maintain the game and its local gameplay features;
remember local tutorial progress and settings;
validate and deliver an in-app purchase when the store reports an entitlement;
respond to support requests and communicate about a support issue;
protect the game, users, and our systems from fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
manage, improve, or troubleshoot the service if a future release introduces a relevant, disclosed service.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use the current game configuration to build advertising profiles or send marketing messages.
We may disclose information:
to Apple, Google, or another app-store provider when needed to distribute the app or process a purchase;
to service providers that host, secure, or support our systems, only for the services they provide;
when required by law, court order, or a valid legal request;
when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud; or
in connection with a merger, sale, financing, restructuring, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell or rent personal information to advertisers. We do not share support correspondence for unrelated marketing.
Local game data normally remains on your device until you uninstall Snaper Diner or clear its app data. We do not have an in-game account database to delete in the current release.
We keep support emails and related records only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Store purchase records are retained and controlled by Apple or Google under their policies and retention practices.
You can ask us to delete information that we hold by emailing admin@longviewlabs.co.nz. We may need to verify the request and may retain information where the law requires or permits it.
Snaper Diner does not require an account and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect a child’s name, contact details, location, or other personal information through the current game. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to legal and security requirements.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use of device stores and for approving any purchase. Store parental controls and purchase controls may be available through Apple or Google.
Our operator and service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards required by law. Apple and Google may process store, payment, device, and diagnostic information under their own international data practices.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to the information we handle. No device, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. You should keep your device and operating system updated and use the security controls provided by Apple or Google.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, objection to, or portability of personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.
To exercise a right, email admin@longviewlabs.co.nz with “Snaper Diner privacy request”. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also need to contact Apple or Google directly about information they process as store or platform operators.
This policy does not replace the policies of Apple, Google, your device manufacturer, or any third-party service that may be introduced in a later release. Their policies apply to their own processing. The public policy page is hosted using Google Sites, so Google may process access to this page under Google’s policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, our data practices, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the current version was posted. For a material change, we will provide additional notice where required.
