Hi Everyone! ,

Welcome to second grade! I hope you have had a terrific summer! Can you believe how fast it went by?!?! I'm ready to begin an exciting school year with our new 'Classroom Family'.

In the beginning of the school year we do a lot of things to learn about each other, so I have homework for you already!!! Please bring 3-4 things into school that can teach us something about you. For example, I might bring in a picture of my family at the lake because I love spending time with my family and I love my summers at the lake.  Maybe I will bring in my sneakers because I love running outside whenever I can. Lastly, I might play a Taylor Swift song for you because I LOVE me some Taylor! :) Think of 3-4 things that are important to you and put them in a lunch-sized paper bag. Don't forget to bring the bag in any day during the first week of school.

Your second assignment is to bring in a photo of something you did this summer that you loved and the title of one great book you read/listened to this summer. I can't wait to learn about you and start to build our classroom family for the 2024-2025 school year!
