Course Description from the Educational Opportunities Booklet: This course provides students with a foundational study into vertebrate anatomy and physiology and covers topics such as biochemistry, cells and tissues, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Students will also be introduced to common human disease processes. Strong language and vocabulary skills will add to success in this course.
