Biology 432

Mrs. Fournier-Rea is not teaching Biology 432 for the 2023-2024 school year. 

From the Educational Opportunities book: This course provides an introduction to major aspects of the biological world: chemistry of life, structure and function of cells, genetics, evolution and biodiversity, anatomy and physiology, and ecology. Students will: design, plan, and carry out investigations to answer scientific questions, develop and use models, analyze and interpret data, engage in evidence-based arguments, and obtain, evaluate, and communicate information. 

Biology 432 is designed to meet the needs of students who require support in language processing. 

This course covers the required topics from the Massachusetts State Frameworks for High School Biology and prepares students for the MCAS biology exam.

The textbook for this course is Glencoe Biology, 2017.
