Experience

The 2025-2026 school year is my twenty-second year at Longmeadow High School! I have taught biology 431, 432, honors biology, and forensic science. I'm also a certified yoga instructor and run the LHS Yoga Club. 

Personal Bio

I am married to my wonderful husband, Chris, an English teacher. We have two children: Sophie, age 15, and Miles, age 12. Both kids' nuclear DNA is 50% genetically identical to mine and 50% genetically identical to my husband's, but they got all their mitochondria from me. We also have two sweet kitties, Callie and Penny, who joined our family during the summer of 2019.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking bread, traveling, yoga, dance, reading, tennis, and running (slowly).  I also love cats, elephants, naked mole rats, coffee, and burrito bowls.
