Year 11 revision sessions run on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
STEM Education, at its core, simply means educating students in four specific disciplines, namely, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (collectively shortened as STEM). Instead of training students in any one of these domains, STEM combines all four in an interdisciplinary and applied approach, to better equip students to have a career and consider real-world applications.
Pupils are given an independent task where they need combine all subject areas into a real life project. This project was created by a wonderful Year 10 that thought of the idea of using old plastic bottles and recycling them into 3D printer filament.
All pupils are given the wonderful project of building a drone. This can be a racing or flying drone. This is one of our amazing inventions that was created.

We only have one planet. To reverse the current climate emergency while responding to public appeals for affordable energy, we need an ambitious, coordinated climate response and energy transition.
Our team created a fantastic device that recorded the sound levels in a classroom and gave a warning response if they rose too high.
There are three levels available, Bronze, Silver and Gold. There is no time limit in order to complete and all ideas are great ideas.
This term we have a range accomplishments but a special well done to Gordon who in Year 7 has earnt his silver award and already planning his gold project!
