Welcome to the home of Lompoc High School Viticulture and FFA Vine Pruning Team! Visitors to this page will learn about grapevine cultivation, vineyard management, and the hands-on learning experiences taking place in our on-campus vineyard.

Viticulture has a long history in Santa Barbara County, and students at Lompoc High School are gaining real-world skills by learning how grapevines are grown, maintained, and prepared for harvest. As part of our California FFA Career Development Events, students have the opportunity to compete on a winter grapevine pruning team, applying industry-standard techniques learned in class.
