This year long course is designed for freshman as it is the first class in the Mechanized Agriculture Pathway. Students will be provided with basic shop skills necessary to develop an understanding of the following studies; plumbing, wood construction, metal working (welding & fabrication), electrical, ect. In addition to course work, students will be evaluated on their participation in intra-curricular FFA activities as well as the development and maintenance of an ongoing Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program.
A-G Elective, this course is also a pre-requisite to Ag Mechanics 2.
This year long course is the second class in the Mechanized Agriculture Pathway. This course is designed to reinforce and build from the principles taught in the Introduction to Agricultural Mechanics course. Students will further their skills regarding wood construction and metal fabrication. Students will collaborate to design and construct large projects. In addition to course work, students will be evaluated on their participation in intra-curricular FFA activities as well as the development and maintenance of an ongoing Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program.
