The Legacy Robe

The Legacy Robe is a tradition inspired by a robe of the same name which is passed from show to show on Broadway. Tradition dictates that the robe is presented to an ensemble member who has the largest number of Broadway ensemble credits.

In an effort to honor the hardworking ensembles of our annual musicals, Mrs. Barthel and Mrs. Jansen brought the tradition to LHS in 2018 when our first Legacy Robe recipient, Winter Hierholzer, was honored as Outstading Ensemble. The tunic he wore in the show as the turtle became the perfect base for a the robe. Each year a new decoration representing the closing show is added to the robe as well as the name of that year's recipient. The Robe is presented to the new recipient by the year prior's (when possible) at the cast party. The Legacy Robe is displayed in tbe lobby of the lobby of the Little Theatre for the rest of the year.
