Homework Note from Mrs. Hartwig and Mrs. Lockwood:

For the week of May 3, students will have a spelling test on Unit 31. The spelling list is included in this Friday folder. Study those spelling words as there are only two more spelling lists left. Some need to raise grades for the 4th quarter.

We are running out of time. Please study those basic facts a few minutes each night. Our goal is to have all four of our basic facts mastered by the end of 4th grade. We test each Friday.

On May 13, our 4th grade students will have Move Up Day. This is a part of a day in which students get to experience what it is like to be a 5th grader and travel from room to room to the different teachers and their classes. This helps those students that are anxious about moving on to the next grade.

Your child should be reading for at least 20 minutes each night to make his/her 4th quarter goal. Some have not read a book yet this quarter. If they are not bringing books home, please let us know.
