The Lion of Judah program also caters to children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old, a pivotal stage in their early childhood development.
Our program for this age group is designed to provide a stimulating and enriching environment where children can further explore and expand their knowledge, skills, and social interactions.
Within our program for 3-5-year-olds, we focus on the following areas:
Academic Development:
Language and literacy skills: We foster a love for reading and language by providing a variety of age-appropriate books, storytelling sessions, and language-building activities.
Mathematical concepts: Through hands-on activities, games, and puzzles, we introduce foundational math skills such as counting, number recognition, patterns, and basic problem-solving.
Science and nature exploration: Children engage in age-appropriate experiments, nature walks, and sensory activities to develop a curiosity for the world around them.
Social and Emotional Growth:
Cooperative play: We encourage collaborative activities, group projects, and imaginative play to promote social interaction, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
Emotional awareness: Our educators provide a nurturing environment where children learn to identify and express their emotions, develop empathy, and build positive relationships with their peers.
Physical Development:
Gross motor skills: We offer various activities that promote coordination, balance, and physical fitness, such as outdoor play, organized games, and age-appropriate sports.
Fine motor skills: Through arts and crafts, puzzles, and manipulative materials, we help children refine their hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and pencil grip.
Creative Expression:
Visual arts: Children are encouraged to explore their creativity through painting, drawing, sculpting, and other artistic mediums.
Music and movement: We provide opportunities for children to engage in singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments to foster their rhythmic abilities and self-expression.
Preparatory Skills:
Kindergarten readiness: We focus on developing essential skills that prepare children for a smooth transition to kindergarten, including early literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and self-help skills.
At Lion of Judah, our dedicated educators create a supportive and engaging environment where children can flourish academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. We aim to foster a lifelong love for learning and provide a strong foundation for their continued growth and success.
