Genesis 1:6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”
7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it.
And it was so.
8 God called the vault “sky.”
And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.
Form is ABCBA. The A section begins with a melody and harmony representing air. The B section represents transition; first water condenses and forms water droplets that begin to fall. The sea is represented by a strong beat that enters on Section C; in this section one can hear the strong flow of water and the powerful dance of swelling waves. With a final crash of a wave, the water begins to evaporate and float upward to begin the A section again. A final note is sounded together of water and air - Sea and Sky.
