The Fine Arts Focus

Carla B. Long, a professional documentary photojournalist photographer, and veteran teaching artist who has worked consistently to collaborate with classroom teachers and administration. Her goal is to form an educational platform that teaches students academic standards using The Creative Process.

Matthew Monticchio has been an active composer, jazz pianist, music director, a teacher in the Central PA region and beyond 20 years. He has a passion for collaborating with other musicians and creative thinkers and teaching and inspiring young creative to develop their aesthetic eye, vision, and skills.

Together Carla and Matt feel passionate about creating residencies that promote learning in and through the arts.
