The PSAT is a test given through the National Merit Scholarship Program. You are not eligible to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship until Junior year, however, for sophomores it is a great opportunity to help prepare and see what the test will be like. This inexpensive test is also great practice for the SAT if you choose to take it. It can also be a great practice test to help you build your testing taking skills.
