Hello, my name is Ms. Saenz! I have been in education for 23 years. My first 21 years I was a Special Education teacher, and this is my 2nd year as a School Counselor!

My name is Mrs. A and I am the new 8th grade counselor at Christa McAuliffe Middle School!
I am here to support ALL students with their social-emotional development, academic achievement and college & career readiness.
About Me
I am originally from Los Angeles, but I moved to Modesto in 2020.
I enjoy going on walks, spending time with my family and watching shows on Netflix.
My favorite theme parks are Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm.
My favorite color is Blue.
My favorite food is lasagna.
My happy place is at the Beach!
Experience
I graduated with my Bachelor's in Sociology from CSU Dominguez Hills and my Master's in Education with an emphasis in Counselor Education at CSU Stanislaus. This is my first year as a School Counselor and I am excited to work for LUSD!
