Definition of Mock Trial: " A college or high school club offered to those tough, dedicated, and intelligent individuals who like a bit of a challenge. For the most part, it is a club where one participates in a fake case as either an attorney or witness. It is extremely time consuming, exhausting, but all the while worth it to those awesome enough to handle it."

Practices are held every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Times: 3:30-5:30 pm
Yes and No... Practices are only three day per week, but scrimmages and tournaments do take up a lot of winter weekends.
Because of the practice times, it is impossible for winter sports athletes to also participate in mock trial. (Sorry!)
Mock Trial is a pretty demanding activity. We work hard in practices, and most team members (especially varsity) work outside practice, too. Raw talent will only take you so far because there are so many worthy opponents out there. Preparation, dedication, and teamwork separate the best from the rest!
Mock Trial is a competition where students replicate a court trial and have A LOT of fun doing it! Competition for the entire season focuses around one hypothetical court case, but every trial is new challenge because each team develops their own unique strategy to help them win. During a trial, six Lodi students (three lawyers and three witnesses) compete against six students from a different school. We all work together as a team, thinking quickly on our feet to take down the opposition with our brilliance!
We are looking for hardworking team players from any grade, freshman through senior.
By the way, mock trial is NOT just for students considering a law career in the future. There's something for everyone!
