Summer Music Camps
UW-Madison Summer Music Clinic
Join other junior or high school music students for a week of creative skill-building and performance in band, orchestra, choir, musical theater and jazz ensemble. Concert groups rehearse throughout the week and your family and friends are invited to the final concerts. Classes are designed to help you polish your ensemble and individual performance skills with a variety of music-related topics and techniques. Evening concerts and after-class recreation round out an exciting and dynamic music camp experience. Evening concerts are a mix of guest performing artists, student and faculty recitals.
UW-Whitewater Band Camp
We help campers strengthen a solid base of musical knowledge and emphasize ensemble and personal performance improvement. Additional attention is given to the acquisition of knowledge on their specific instrument, the expressive qualities of music, and ways to broaden or focus their interest in music. We also create a positive environment that assists the camper in meeting and making friends.
International Music Camp
Founded in 1956, The International Music Camp Summer School of Fine Arts offers a wide array of cultural study for students and adults. In weekly sessions, students of all ages gain concentrated knowledge in their particular area of interest. While the camp name speaks of its foundation in Music, IMC also offers one week summer camp programs in Dance, Creative Writing, Painting, Drawing, Theatre, and several other Fine Arts disciplines. A staff of 150+ artist-teachers, internationally noted guest conductors, and outstanding clinicians from the United States and Canada provide instruction to students from around the world.
Shell Lake Arts Camp
Located in beautiful northwestern Wisconsin, only a short hour and fifteen minutes north of Eau Claire, the Shell Lake Arts Center in Shell Lake provides a premium learning experience for all students. Our programs and staff are well-respected nationally with some of the longest-running programs of their kind in the United States. With over 50 years of experience, the Arts Center provides a positive, safe and secure learning environment for students to further develop and explore their talents.
Birch Creek Music Camp
Birch Creek Music Performance Center is a Residential Summer Music Academy on the beautiful Door County peninsula of Wisconsin. Founded in 1976, Birch Creek is a unique academy that provides talented students (Ages 13-19) advanced training and mentorship as well as the opportunity to perform publicly alongside top music professionals from the United States and abroad.
