Lockhart_Seniors 2026_Newsletter (1).pdfGraduation is quickly approaching, and now is the time for seniors to order their required graduation gear. Caps, gowns, and other essential items must be ordered in advance to ensure everything is ready for the big day.
We encourage students to take responsibility for placing their order as soon as possible, and families to support them by checking that all graduation items are ordered by the deadline. Ordering early helps avoid last-minute issues and ensures every senior is prepared to walk across the stage and celebrate this important milestone.

SAVE THE DATE: SENIOR TRIP IS APRIL 10TH!
The pride is heading out! Seniors are invited to join us for the Class of 2026 Senior Trip on April 10! This trip is a fun opportunity for our Lions to spend time together and enjoy one of their final experiences as a class.
More details, including destination, cost, and permission information, will be shared soon. Be sure to check back for updates!

Senior Commitment Day is a special celebration honoring the Class of 2026 and the exciting plans seniors have made for life after graduation. Whether students are heading to a college or university, the military, a technical program, an apprenticeship, or directly into the workforce, this day recognizes and celebrates every postsecondary path.
All seniors are encouraged to participate by completing the Commitment Day form to share their plans and be included in the celebration. Families are invited to join us in recognizing this important milestone and cheering on our seniors as they prepare for what comes next.

SAVE THE DATE: ROBING CEREMONY IS MAY 20TH!
The Senior Robing Ceremony is a meaningful tradition that honors the relationships and experiences that have shaped each graduate. Seniors are formally robed in their graduation gowns by a Lockhart ISD teacher or staff member of their choosing—recognizing the individuals who have supported, guided, and inspired them throughout their high school years.
Seniors are strongly encouraged to participate in this special ceremony and arrive prepared with their graduation attire. Families are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate the Class of 2026, honor these important connections, and mark this significant transition from student to graduate.

The Senior Scholarship Ceremony is a special celebration recognizing the academic achievements, dedication, and hard work of our graduating seniors. During this event, we honor students who have earned local, state, and national scholarships, as well as other academic awards, in recognition of their commitment to excellence and future goals.
